The 6th Korea-America Student Conference
This year, the 6th KASC will be held from July 1st to July 30th in South Korea and will explore the theme: “Collaborate to Converge: An Interlocking World.” With the sharing of technology, interlocking economies, exchange of ideas, and the increased cooperation among nations towards global challenges, there is no denying that we live in a boundless world. As our countries move forward, we also move with caution as we understand the possibility of unintended consequences brought by globalization. But our interconnectedness should not be seen as a burden; it is a promising strength. Real change begins with our active engagement with each other. With the theme: “Collaborate to Converge: An Interlocking World,” how will our countries, and we as ambassadors work together to create sustainable change? Our individual actions can be influential, and our cooperation impacts the world.
Supported by student leaders--the 6th KASC Executive Committee--student delegates will participate in various forums and events, perform community service, and join their assigned Roundtable to discuss in-depth U.S.-Korea relations. Roundtables are comprised of equal numbers of delegates from each country.
To be eligible, you must complete your application as soon as possible since it's a rolling admission and you have to be a full-time university student in the U.S. or Korea.
