SPRING/SUMMER 2017 INTERN
International Student Conferences (ISC) is a Washington-based non-profit focused on U.S.-Asia relations and student interchange and is currently seeking a Event Coordinator Intern for its Spring/Summer 2017 class. The Event Coordinator Intern will work directly with ISC staff on its 2017 Korea-America Student Conference (KASC) to be held from July 23 - August 13.
Assist KASC Program Manager in planning programs, identifying venues, transportation, and meal optionss
Assist KASC Program Manager in management of eight student leaders
Assist with development and creation of printed materials
Assist with event marketing
Assist with additional projects as needed.
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Internet and e-mail
Experience with scheduling and budgeting for events
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent writing skills
Comfortable contacting vendors over email and phone
Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
Preferred Requirements Include:
Strong event planning/management experience
Working towards a degree in hospitality, public relations, or marketing
Graphic design experience
Strong interest in US-Korea relations.
