Shanghai

Shanghai, China’s bustling metropolis, stands as a global financial hub and a vibrant cultural center. Located on the eastern coast where the Yangtze River meets the East China Sea, it is renowned for its futuristic skyline, highlighted by landmarks like the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Shanghai Tower. This city blends tradition with modernity, where historic neighborhoods such as the Bund contrast with the sleek, high-tech developments of Pudong. Known for its thriving arts scene, diverse cuisine, and dynamic nightlife, Shanghai is a symbol of China’s rapid economic growth and international influence. Suzhou

Suzhou, often referred to as the “Venice of the East,” is celebrated for its classical Chinese gardens, traditional silk production, and picturesque canals. Located in Jiangsu Province, just west of Shanghai, Suzhou boasts a rich history that dates back over 2,500 years. Its serene gardens, including the Humble Administrator’s Garden and the Lingering Garden, are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and exemplify the art of Chinese landscape design. Suzhou is also famed for its ancient architecture, vibrant silk industry, and traditional Suzhou Opera, offering a window into the elegance and cultural heritage of China.
Xi’an

Xi’an is often considered to be the birthplace of Chinese civilization, and is also the origin of the Silk Road. Xi’an was one of China’s four great ancient capitals, and is most famous for its world-renowned collection of terracotta warriors. The first Qin emperor, also known as Qinshihuang, commissioned this impressive phalanx of clay warriors to guard his burial site. Due to its historical legacy, Xi’an is a UNESCO world heritage site. Xi’an also has many different cultural influences, resulting in a one of a kind regional cuisine. As one of China’s main cultural and industrial hubs, Xi’an plays an important part in the past, present, and future of China.
