Vincent Lay will be joining the ISC team this year as the first ever advisor for the China-America Student Conference (ChASC). A former delegate for ChASC3 and an Executive Committee member for ChASC4, he will mentor the ChASC5 team on various tasks, including budgeting, graphic design, managing outreach efforts, as well as providing support to the Executive Committee before and during the conference.
Vincent holds an undergraduate degree in Bioinformatics and Genomics and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Industrial Design at Arizona State University. His time with ChASC sparked a new desire to work within public diplomacy, along with a particular interest in cultural diplomacy.
He is currently a Boren Fellow studying Mandarin in Taiwan and aims to work as a Foreign Service Officer in the future.
