Deborah Jeong serves as the Recruitment Coordinator at International Student Conferences (ISC), where she supports outreach and recruitment for all three flagship programs — JASC, KASC, and ChASC. In this role, she works closely with each Executive Committee to strengthen delegate recruitment, coordinate speaker outreach, and help ensure each conference reflects the diverse voices and experiences that define ISC’s mission.

Deborah’s relationship with ISC began as a delegate to the 12th Korea-America Student Conference (KASC) in 2019. She later served as the American Vice Chair for KASC 13, helping lead the Executive Committee through the unique challenges of a virtual conference during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her commitment to student diplomacy and cross-cultural dialogue has shaped her leadership ever since.

Deborah holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, San Diego, with minors in Transnational Korean Studies and Law & Society. She recently returned from a year teaching English in South Korea through the EPIK program and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she focuses on international security and East Asia.

Whether mentoring current student leaders or helping prospective delegates find their place at ISC, Deborah brings a deep belief in the power of student exchange to build understanding—and a more connected future.
