Information for Applicants
KASC seeks a diverse delegation representing the academically accomplished student populations of the United States and South Korea. Full-time undergraduate and graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply. No previous experience with Korean Studies or the Korean language is required as the conference is conducted entirely in English. KASC does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, marital status or sexual orientation.
We accept and process applications on a rolling basis. Decisions on acceptance will be made within one month upon receipt of your completed application materials.
NOTE: KASC applicants should select the delegation that they are applying for: "American" or "Korean"
2. Fill out the application and be sure to save your progress as you go.
3. Upload the following required documents:
a. Personal statement (max 600 words)
b. Statement of purpose (max 600 words)
4. A transcript (official or unofficial) from your current school and (OPTIONAL) one
letter of recommendation should be emailed under the subject line “LastName,
FirstName — DocumentEnclosed” to the appropriate address below:

5. Submit a $20 application fee through our payment site. Be sure to include a note
that states the donation goes toward your application fee.

The real cost of each delegate is $6,000+ but ISC subsidizes the cost so that delegates pay only $3,500 (priority deadline) and $3,900 (regular deadline).
