Information for Applicants
KASC seeks a diverse delegation that represents a cross-section of the United States' and Korea's academically accomplished student population. Full-time university students are strongly encouraged to apply. No previous experience with Asian Studies or the Korean language is required as the Conference is conducted in English. KASC does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, marital status or sexual orientation.
In order to apply for the conference students must complete the following steps on the online application:
1. Select the American or Korean Delegation application.
a. Select "American Delegation" if you attend school in the U.S.
b. Select "Korean Delegation" if you attend school in Korea.
2. Complete the short answers and essays within your application.

3. Copy and paste your resume.
4. Send a copy of your transcript.
a. The transcript may be unofficial or official.
5. Have 1 reference (for American Delegation applicants) or 1 letter of
recommendation (for Korean Delegation applicants).
a. American Delegation applicants: The reference should be a professor,
employer, or non-family member who can speak about your abilities. Please
provide the name, title, affiliation, email and phone number of your reference.
b. Korean Delegation applicants: the letter of recommendation must come from
an academic source. He/ She may send the recommendation through email or
mail. Those writing the letters should describe who they are, their relationship to
you, and address your communication skills, sensitivity to cultural diversity,
emotional readiness, leadership ability, and any other special qualities relevant to
