Recruitment Chair, American Executive Committee
College of Saint Benedict
Hello, everyone! My name is Rebecca (Becca) Kong, and I am the Recruitment Chair for the 11th KASC American Executive Committee, as well as one of the leaders for the “Energy and Environment: Exploring Current Strategies to Innovate Future Solutions” Roundtable. I am currently a Second-Year at the College of Saint Benedict. I am majoring in Biology and minoring in Japanese and Asian Studies.
I like peppermint tea and watching martial arts movies. I also enjoy reading autobiographies and biographies during my free time. I am really interested in South and North Korean history, and it is a large reason why I am studying Asian Studies. I heard about KASC through a friend who had a lot of passion for the conference, and I applied for the 10th KASC because I was really interested in meeting new people, especially international people. Being an American delegate for the 10th KASC has broadened my perspective of the world. The 10th KASC was an amazing opportunity that I was able to take part in and individually grow, and I hope to share this experience with all 11th KASC delegates!
