Chair, American Executive Committee
Yonsei University GSIS
Hello everyone! My name is Rebecca (Becca) Anderson and I am the Chair of the 11th KASC American Executive Committee, as well as one of the leaders of the “International Relations: Now and Future of the United States-Republic of Korea Alliance” Roundtable. I completed my undergrad at Johns Hopkins University and am currently a US Fulbright grantee pursuing a Master’s in Korean Studies at Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies in Seoul, South Korea.
As an American of half-Korean heritage, my interest in US-South Korea relations has heavily influenced my academic career and was what initially prompted me to apply for 10th KASC. Because I believe in the importance of the bilateral dialogue KASC facilitates and the lasting relationships it creates, I am beyond excited to be involved again this year to help KASC reach new heights. Students of all academic backgrounds stand to gain immensely from this conference, as it is a truly unique and rewarding experience – academically, personally, and professionally. We look forward to having you join us as an 11th KASC delegate!
