The capital of Japan, Tokyo. Kasumigaseki, the political center of Japan; Otemachi and Shinjuku, where the head offices of large companies and various financial institutions are concentrated; and Shibuya and Harajuku, the birthplace of Japanese-pop culture. All these different areas make Tokyo one of the most popular and global cities. While Tokyo is a city that is at the forefront of the IT and AI fields that will lead Japan, it is also a traditional city where the downtown culture from the Edo period remains strong, such as in Asakusa. In Tokyo’s historic year hosting the Olympic Games, the delegates will be able to experience the presence of the capital of Japan in the international community, along with its tradition and potential. As the concluding site of the conference where the final forum of JASC 73 will take place, delegates will be encouraged to convey their final remarks of their JASC experience.
