Hi everyone! My name is Quyen Nguyen and I am a sophomore at Smith College in Massachusetts. I was born in Vietnam but I moved to Portland, Oregon when I was two years old. I am a Psychology major and Neuroscience minor but I intend on studying International Relations and Economics in London next year. Outside of academics I am interested in graphic arts and photography. When I can, I enjoy traveling, reading (my favorite author is Haruki Murakami), trying new coffee blends, tinkering with technology and rafting.
My experience at the 65th JASC was absolutely amazing. I sincerely treasure the relationships I formed during the conference with American and Japanese students and I am confident that our friendship will continue to grow. I look forward to meeting the future delegation and I am honored to join their journey as they embark on a life changing summer.
