Willamarie Moore (JASC 40, 41, 42) publishes Children’s books about Japan

Willamarie Moore (JASC 40, 41, 42) has published two Children’s books about Japan, Japanese Traditions: Rice Cakes, Cherry Blossoms and Matsuri and All About Japan: Stories, Song, Crafts and More. Moore lived and worked in Japan for several years, and she is currently the Head of School Programs and Teacher Resources at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Miryam Sas (JASC 39,40) publishes book of Japanese Art

Miryam Sas (JASC 39,40) published a book entitled Experimental Arts in Postwar Japan. In the book, she explores the theoretical and cultural implications of experimental arts in a range of media. Casting light on important moments in the arts from the 1960s to the early 1980s.

Miryam is currently Professor of Comparative Literature, Film and Media at the University of California, Berkeley.
